The trade fair personnel of the Werner Group in discussion with interested trade fair visitors

Munich, May 21, 2014. The IFAT booth of the Werner Group (www.werner-muc.de) provided the platform for floradry GmbH to showcase its new drying systems and florafuel AG its treatment procedure for biogenic waste which allows high-quality, CO2-neutral energy sources to be produced. The response from the trade visitors during this fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management was overwhelming. “Many visitors specifically sought discussion with us, so that we can work together with them to find concrete solutions,” explains Hans Werner. Mr. Werner, CEO of the innovative Munich-based company, is pleased to have received over a hundred concrete inquiries from organisations in Europe, China, India, Mexico, Japan and Australia.

“Those who showed interest were impressed by the contribution that the florafuel Procedure (www.florafuel.de) makes to decentralised energy supply by generating solid fuels from biogenic, regional waste,” explains Hans Werner. That this process represents a real alternative to composting or fermentation can be verified on the industrial-scale test plant set up near to Munich.

Impressive Performance

Those who were particularly interested in the new drying systems floradry SMART and floradry TWISTER from the company floradry GmbH (www.floradry.de) included biogas plant operators, pellet manufacturers and farmers. The floradry dryer excels with its high quality. Another advantage of the dryer is that it can be produced to suit the available space, required throughput rate and drying products used. Besides this, further drying modules may be added as needed at a favourable cost/performance ratio.

Many customers of the companies Werner Straßenreinigung and Werner Garten- und Landschaftsbau also came to the IFAT booth. The booth personnel informed visitors about the new service package of the Werner Group – a company which, due to the quality of its services and high level of reliability, has enjoyed an excellent reputation for decades.

About florafuel AG
florafuel AG has developed an innovative process which enables biomass and biogenic waste to be recycled into high-grade, regenerative CO2-neutral bioenergy sources in the form of pellets and briquettes. The plants and dryers needed for this are developed and sold on the market by florafuel AG.

The bioenergy sources harnessed by the florafuel Procedure are sufficient to cover base load requirements and represent an ideal addition in the bioenergy mix, both from an ecological and economical point of view.

The florafuel Procedure, which is patented worldwide, was developed and optimized within the framework of a research project carried out together with the Institute for Sanitary and Waste Management (Institut für Siedlungswasserwirtschaft und Abfalltechnik) at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich (Universität der Bundeswehr München).
